BPOSACCOS Refurbishes Moloi Family Home in Mochudi Through CSR Initiative

Mochudi, Botswana

In a heartwarming display of corporate social responsibility (CSR), the Botswana Public Officers Savings and Credit Cooperative Society (BPOSACCOS) has refurbished a family home in Mochudi, bringing renewed hope and comfort to the Moloi family.

The initiative was part of BPOSACCOS’s broader commitment to uplifting communities and making a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable citizens. The Moloi family, long faced with substandard living conditions, now resides in a safe and dignified home, thanks to the comprehensive renovation carried out by the Society.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, BPOSACCOS Board Chairperson, Dr Kefilwe Dube, emphasized the importance of giving back to the community. “We believe in building not just financial security for our members, but also in building stronger, more resilient communities. The Moloi family’s story touched us deeply, and we are honored to have been able to support them in this way.”

The project included extensive repairs to the structure of the house, installation of new windows, improved security through installation of burglar bars, and fresh interior and exterior finishes — all done in collaboration with local contractors and staff volunteers.

The Moloi family expressed deep appreciation for the gesture, hailing it as an inspiring example of compassion and civic responsibility.

BPOSACCOS Management Board indicated that this is just one of many CSR efforts planned for the year, with future projects aimed at supporting education, health, and community development across Botswana.
