The Credit Committee is responsible for the general supervision and assessment of all loans to members. It ensures that the lending policies of the Society are strictly adhered to and that loan risks are effectively managed.
Applicants should possess relevant expertise to manage the Society's credit functions:
Finance/Banking: Experience in credit management, banking, or financial analysis.
Risk Management: Ability to assess financial risk and borrower credibility.
ICT/Digital: Familiarity with loan management systems or financial software.
General: Analytical mind, confidentiality, and adherence to ethical lending practices.
To be eligible for appointment, an applicant must:
Be a member in good standing and a shareholder of BPOSACCOS.
Be 18 years of age or older.
Not be employed by the Society.
Not be engaged in business as a moneylender.
Have no criminal record.
Be compliant with Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
Note: Successful candidates will be required to go through vetting as per FIA requirements.
