Management Board

Dr. Kefilwe Dolly Dube has been appointed Chairperson of the Board of Directors of BPOSACCOS. Dr. Dube is a Practicing Doctor with 14 years of extensive work experience in the Medical field. Her leadership experience was obtained through different managerial positions held within government health care structures, which include amongst others, Principal Dental Officer, Senior Dental Officer and Head of Dental Department. Besides that, Dr. Dube has held other Board positions like Vice President at Botswana Doctors Union. As Botswana Doctors Union Board member, she has contributed to Ministry of Health’s strategic National policy formulations and implementations which has positively impacted the health sector workforce in Botswana. The following are amongst other national policies which she had contributed on their review and developments:

• Validation of Botswana Private Health practice licensing guidelines
• Review of the Public Service Bill of 2023
• Just transition and Gender Equality Policy 2023

Dr. Dube holds Masters in Dentistry from Charles University, Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Marketing Management from MANCOSA, Project management Certificate from University of Botswana and Postgraduate Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management from Botswana Accountancy College.

Mr Ontlametse Gaothuse bring a diverse perspective to the board combining deep research, science and technology expertise, strategy and governance to deliver thoughtful insights that help drive informed decisions. With over 21 years of experience in research, science and technology, Mr Gaothuse has extensively worked on development of strategies to increase private sector research and development, development and review of policies to align with international standards, sourcing international partnerships to drive the national agenda and promoting university-industry linkages in research and development.

Amongst others, Mr Gaothuse has acquired training in forecasting and planning, project planning and execution and Policies and Strategy for Increased Scientific Research outputs and innovations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and Post Graduate Diploma in Education as well as a Master’s Degree in Management Science and Engineering.

Mr. Eric C. L. Ditau is the former President of Botswana Secondary School Teacher’s Union (BOSETU). He was also the Vice-President of Botswana Federation of Trade Unions (BFTU). He set in Botswana Public Officers Pension Fund as a Board of Trustee. He was also the first Chairman of BOTUSAFE Company, a joint venture between three public service unions. He has sat in numerous other boards including in the Ministry of Education, Teaching Service Consultative Council (TSCC) and Botswana Tourism Fund Board. He has a Bachelor of Arts, (Humanities), Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) and Master in Arts in Development Studies. He has attended a plethora of courses ranging from Gender Issues in Labour (VV Giri Labour Institute-India), African Unity Civil Society Conference (Libya), Education International Conference (Egypt and Germany), Trainee Investment Course, Leadership and Governance Training Course, Gender and Development course, Project Management Course, Trade Dispute Course etc. He has acquired skills in industrial relations, organizational development, human resource management, human resource development amongst others.

Mr. Sebetso Tshenyo began his career at the Department of Agricultural Research in the Ministry of Agriculture before transitioning to the Office of the Auditor General in 1997 as an Audit Assistant. Over the years, he has demonstrated exceptional skills and dedication, progressively advancing through various roles to achieve a senior management position. With over 26 years of extensive experience in auditing, Mr.Tshenyo has conducted comprehensive audits of numerous government ministries, ensuring accountability and financial integrity in public service. His expertise encompasses both operational and compliance audits, allowing him to identify risks and implement effective solutions. Mr. Tshenyo holds a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Botswana. He commands strong analytical skills, combined with a deep understanding of financial regulations and public sector operations.

Ms Mosibidu Doreen Marakalala is a dedicated professional with a strong educational foundation in human resources and electoral management. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resources and has completed various advanced training courses, including courses in Emotional Intelligence, Management of Democratic Elections in Africa, and Voter Registration for Election Managers. Her career, spanning roles as an Administration Officer and Senior Elections Officer, reflects her commitment to continuous learning and skill development. Beyond her professional pursuits, Doreen enjoys traveling, swimming, and hiking, which enrich her networking and personal growth. With a passion for leadership and a focus on quality, Doreen is a vibrant individual committed to making a positive impact in her field.

Ms Malebogo Mokotedi is a seasoned economist with over two decades of experience working in the Botswana government. She has been deeply involved in development planning nationwide, working in various districts as an economic planner and collaborating with communities to create District Development Plans. In addition to her local engagements, she has also coordinated development planning at the national level. Ms. Mokotedi brings extensive expertise in planning, community engagement, and strategy development. Currently, she serves at the National Planning Commission, where she focuses on service delivery issues. She holds a BA in Economics and Statistics from the University of Botswana and a Master’s degree in Economic Development.

Mr Ringo Hule works at Ministry of Education and Skills Development as Senior Manager in the Corporate Services Department responsible for teachers. He joined the Ministry on transfer in May 2024 from the Office of the Auditor General where he was Head of Corporate Services responsible for finance, HR and Administration, ICT, Wellness, Procurement, facilities, fleet management, Communications and records management. He also has a wealth of experience in performance management. Mr Hule holds a master’s degree in strategic management and another in Education. He also has a Bachelor’s degree in Education under his belt. Mr Hule is also a beneficiary of numerous capacity building programs, including but not limited to, Focused Leadership Experience (FLEX), change management, Executive Leadership Programme Balanced Scorecard, performance management systems and systems thinking.

Ms Thabo K. Pharithi is an accomplished administrative professional Executive Office Secretary with a track record of optimizing executive workflows and enhancing organizational efficiency. With over 30 years of experience supporting top-level executives in the Public Service of Botswana, Ms Pharithi is committed to driving productivity and fostering seamless collaboration between executives and their teams. A true testimony of a well-disciplined individual who demonstrates a level of respect to all colleagues at all levels. She worked for Department of Non formal Education under the Ministry of Education then went to Attorney General’s Chambers on departmental transfer where she is currently working. She contributed to various divisions at Attorney General’s Chambers, she served at the Corporate Service Division, Civil Litigation Division, Directorate of Public Prosecution Division and currently serving in the Legislative Drafting Division.

Following the resignation of Mr Patrick Mogotsi from Management Board, this position is currently vacant. The Board has resolved to wait for the next Annual General Meeting to replace him.
