About

Who We Are?

Botswana Public Officers Savings and Credit Co-operative Society Limited (BPOSACCOS) was established as a welfare fund in 2010 under the management of the Directorate of Public Service Management (DPSM) and regulated by the Department Of Cooperative Development (DCD).

The high level of growth in Savings and membership prompted the decision to upscale the fund to a functional Savings and Credit Cooperative Society(SACCOS). Therefore, in 2013, BPOSACCOS was formally registered as a Cooperative under the Cooperative Societies Act of 2013 and issued a certificate of registration No. 261. This way, the society could offer a wider range of services, including savings, credit, funeral cover and shareholding.

Our objective was and has been to promote the economic interests of all society members to attain their social and economic improvement through saving and credit in line with the Cooperative Principles. By so doing, we aim to provide members with a haven for savings, avail affordable credit to members and return impressive dividends. BPOSACCOS is one of the largest savings and cooperative societies in the country with a staggering record of over seven thousand (7000) in memberships.
